These boats are part of a program run by the local Living Classrooms foundation and a beloved attraction for local residents as well as families visiting the area. Paddle along in a Chessie dragon boat or choose an electric pirate ship and take in the sights of the harbor, historic ships, and iconic Baltimore landmarks as you cruise along the water.

Rash Field Park is the ideal place to spend a beautiful Baltimore day outdoors.

Kid-friendly entertainment opportunities include nature play and adventure play, as well as Jake’s Skate Park, which was named Baltimore’s Best Skate Park in 2022. Check the website calendar for community events and a food truck schedule for the spring and summer!


Conveniently located in the Inner Harbor, Port Discovery is a great place for kids to explore, learn, and play- and adults will enjoy it too!

The museum’s mission is to transform through the power of play, and they offer daily programs and events in addition to general admission.


This park is a hidden gem in the Inner Harbor, offering green space steps away from downtown.

Family-friendly and interactive, this park provides a calming escape and features interactive sculptures, a musical fence, a living willow tunnel, native plants, and the famous horn sculpture.
The park is also a great event space- and will be the site of Mr. Trash Wheel’s Earth Day Birthday Party on Saturday, April 22.


Located in the Inner Harbor, the science center is the oldest museum in the city.

In addition to being a popular attraction for school field trips and family outings, the center also hosts 21+ events for adults. Exhibits at the center range across different kinds of science, from paleontology to physics.
