Get Ready to Laugh! Performers Announced for July 2nd BxB

Get ready to burst out laughing with Comedian Big Fred Watkins (founder of BIG Laughs, Inc. and Lil' Laughs, Corp.) as he gathers our city's youth and Baltimore’s own Stars in comedy, music, and more to showcase their talents, for the second Baltimore by Baltimore (BxB) Music & Makers Festival on Saturday, July 2nd.

Join this month's featured producer "Big" Fred Watkins for the second Baltimore by Baltimore festival this Fourth of July Weekend at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater.

Big Fred curates unforgettable, hilarious, and impactful events for all ages. Fred was a 2019 OSI Fellow for his work with Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School (MERVO) students, and a nationally televised winner on The Oxygen Network's First Competition show, Last Squad Standing!

“ I’m so excited to bring so many talented performers, venders, and youth together on such an historic weekend at such an important time. We’re all excited to show Baltimore, visitors, and one another, how bright our city deserves to shine and how much light we add to it! “

The beginning of the day is dedicated to Lil' Laughs, showcasing comedy infused anti/bullying and anti- violence work. Also highlighting young voices from outreach programs like the Rich Center in Cherry Hill, Heartsmiles, Inc., Class Clowns at REACH partnership, and Bmore than Dance!

Lil' Laughs is an anti-bullying & confidence enrichment youth program that uses comedy as a vehicle to build confidence and break down the cycle of bullying for middle, elementary, and high school students in Baltimore.

Later in the day, Big Fred will host a mix of amazing talented artist, musicians, and comedians such as Dj Flow & Friends, King Midas and the Natives, She More Funny, Dj Foqus, a BIG Laughs comedy show, and MORE!

Get ready to laugh, dance, and jump in the mix as performers plan on having audience members on stage for interactive elements and crowd participation.
