Baltimore’s waterfront will once again sparkle with holiday cheer during this magical weekend, offering activities for every age and interest. From festive markets to ice skating, live performances, and Santa sightings, the weekend guarantees an unforgettable kickoff to the holiday season.

 

Fells Point Olde Tyme Christmas  
Saturday, December 7, 9 AM  

Fells Point celebrates the season with Santa arriving by tugboat at Broadway Pier, setting the tone for a day of merriment. Enjoy crafts, storytime, a Christmas tree lighting, and a breathtaking view of the Lighted Boat Parade. Stroll through charming streets filled with shops and historic bars serving warm seasonal drinks.


Holiday Makers Market

Saturday, Dec 7 (2–8 PM) & Sunday, Dec 8 (12–6PM)

Harborplace, Light St Pavilion

The Holiday Makers Market, presented by Waterfront Partnership, brings this spirit of connection to life with a vibrant showcase of local creativity and culture. With over 60 artists, makers, food vendors, beverage artisans, and vintage retailers, this event offers not only an unparalleled shopping experience but also a celebration of Baltimore's rich and diverse community.

What to Expect:

❄️A Shopping Wonderland: From handcrafted jewelry and bespoke home goods to curated vintage treasures and modern streetwear, there’s something for everyone.

❄️Cultural Immersion: Discover artistic expressions and tastes from Baltimore’s most talented creators, all while soaking in the festive atmosphere.

❄️Decked-Out Decor: The market will dazzle with holiday lights and decor, creating a warm and welcoming space for all.


Inner Harbor Ice Rink 

December 7 & 8 (Golden Hour Glide: 2–5 PM)  

Enjoy skating under the glow of holiday lights with discounted pricing during golden hour. The rink will also be open extended hours all weekend for memorable family moments.


Lighted Boat Parade  

Saturday, December 7, 5:45 PM–8 PM 

Over 25 illuminated boats will glide across the harbor, creating a dazzling display along Fells Point, Harbor East, and the Inner Harbor.


Christmas Village's German-American Weekend  

December 7 & 8, 12–8 PM

Celebrate with traditional German entertainment, food, and shopping at West Shore Park. Enjoy performances by Washingtonia Schuhplattler and Alpenrose Schuhplattler, alongside mulled wine and other festive treats.


Ongoing Waterfront Holiday Magic  

Baltimore’s Winter on the Waterfront calendar runs through January, featuring family-friendly events, romantic evenings, and exclusive shopping and dining offers. Highlights include the Harbor East Holiday Haul and the Harbor Point Ice Festival later in the season.
