Celebrating 40 years of House music here in Charm City, this electrifying event pays homage to the pioneers who elevated the genre to new heights, both locally and globally. This dynamic showcase will feature legendary DJs, producers, and artists who have left an indelible mark on Baltimore's vibrant music scene, with headliners including DJ Biskit, DJ Oji, DJ Pope, Sheri Booker, Ultra Naté, and Fatal Attraction Step Squad. From its underground culture to mainstream recognition, immerse yourself in the rich history and soulful rhythms that define House music in our city.

Maya Gilmore, is a multimedia producer, filmmaker and entrepreneur. She currently holds the role as Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office of Cable and Communications for Baltimore City, boasts a dynamic career trajectory. From her roots as a segment producer at FOX45 in Baltimore, crafting beloved features like “Your Voice” and “Hometown Hotspot,” to her tenure at WTIC Fox61 in Hartford, Connecticut, Maya has demonstrated exceptional prowess in media production. 

As an alumna of Morgan State University, Maya's commitment to nurturing the next generation of storytellers shined as she educated young minds in the School of Global Journalism and Communications, earning outstanding faculty member in the Multiplatform production department. Currently overseeing CharmTV, Maya amplifies Baltimore’s voice and culture through her leadership. Her extensive professional background spans major networks like NBC, ABC, FOX, and VIACOM CBS, encompassing various media formats. Complementing her creative endeavors, Maya is a partner and executive producer at The PKWY Agency, championing media arts education for youth in DC and Baltimore through The PKWY Foundation. 

With her upcoming directorial debut in "Music Liberated: Baltimore’s in the House," Maya continues to be a driving force in the media industry, seamlessly blending storytelling with community engagement.
