Mr. Trash Wheel Celebrates Big Truck Day!
A special Trashseum spotlight and hands on exhibits engaged visitors at the Public Work Experience’s annual celebration.
The Waterfront Partnership had a blast at Baltimore City Public Works' Big Truck Day at the Public Works Experience on May 11, 2024! Mr. Trash Wheel’s 10th Anniversary Exhibit was on full display at Big Truck Day for all to enjoy. After exploring the big trucks of Public Works visitors explored the decade-long journey of Mr. Trash Wheel, learning about his vital role in keeping our waterways clean and vibrant.
The trash wheel fun didn't stop there! Mr. Trash Wheel’s interactive Sensory Experience was a hit among attendees of all ages, who bravely stuck their hands in mystery boxes guessing whether the hidden item was “Trash” or “Treasure”. This hands-on exhibit provided a glimpse into the garbage gobbled up by Mr. Trash Wheel out of the Baltimore Harbor.
