Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman returns to Baltimore City and Baltimore County this fall with an exciting line-up of ship tours, festivals, flyovers, and educational activities, taking place IN-PERSON September 7-13, 2022, at the Inner Harbor, Port Covington, Fells Point, Under Armour Pier and Martin State Airport.

What Is Fleet Week? 

Fleet Week is a nearly 100 year old US Military tradition where Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen dock up in various cities around the nation to share in celebrating our country's deep naval heritage. Maryland Fleet Week and Flyover Baltimore returns to Baltimore on the week of September 7 through 13, 2022, for an exciting lineup of festivals, ship tours, flyovers, and educational activities. 

You can attend events and activities throughout Baltimore's Waterfront at the Inner Harbor, Port Covington, Fells Point, Under Armour Pier, and Martin State Airport.

Fleets

Get a rare up close and personal look at some of the ships that protect our waters and serve overseas under the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Marines. Explore civilian working vessels that serve our country in a different way under NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric) and the Army Corps of Engineers. British and Canadian naval ships, as well as traditional sailing ships, including the Danish sail-training tall ship Danmark will be docked at various locations around Baltimore, including the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Under Armour Pier, Locus Point, and Port Covington.

Flights

Expect to hear the roar of jets and other aircraft overhead while strolling around the festival this year as an exciting series of historic and modern aircraft fly over the harbor for everyone to see. 


Friday, Sept 9th, 10am- 4pm - Flyovers -
 Various military and historic aircraft conduct flyovers and all be visible from the Inner Harbor. (Schedule subject to change)

Saturday, Sept 10th, 10am- 4pm - Flyovers - Various military and historic aircraft conduct flyovers and all be visible from the Inner Harbor. (Schedule subject to change)

Sunday, Sept 11th,10am- 4pm - Flyovers - Various military and historic aircraft conduct flyovers and all be visible from the Inner Harbor. (Schedule subject to change)

Festivals

Throughout the week see live performances, a variety of exhibitors, delicious food stalls, hands-on children's activities, and military displays at three festival locations. 

  • Baltimore's Inner Harbor West Shore Park: Sept 9, 10, & 11 from 11am-7pm

  • Port Covington: Sept 10 & 11 from 11am-7pm

  • Martin State Airport Fleet Week Open House in Middle River: Sept 10 & 11 from 9am-4pm
