Baltimore By Baltimore: Black Girl Magic Edition w/ Lady Brion | Rescheduled for Sun, Oct 9th BxB

International spoken word artist, activist, and educator Lady Brion is bringing that #BlackGirlMagic to the Inner Harbor, inviting some of Baltimore's most talented Black Women artists and makers for the 5th Baltimore by Baltimore (BxB) Music & Makers Festival; Rescheduled for Sun, Oct 9th

Waterfront Partnership is thrilled to work with this month's highly acclaimed BxB producer, Lady Brion, to produce a Black Girl Magic Edition of the Baltimore By Baltimore festival at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater; Rescheduled for Sun, Oct 9th

"This is a tremendous opportunity because often small, local curators are not called on by the city's larger institutions to curate art experiences. So I am excited to show off some of the beautiful talents in the city. And we all know that Black women don't always get their fair share; that's why I wanted this edition to highlight their greatness and be a platform for them." ~Lady Brion

Lady Brion is one of Baltimore's artistic and entrepreneurial powerhouses heading cultural institutions like Black Arts District and Dew More Baltimore while also offering artistic consulting, residencies and workshops, keynotes, and other speaking engagements and spoken word performances around the world. Her dedication to fostering community, political advocacy, and civic engagement aligns perfectly with Baltimore By Baltimore's mission to celebrate homegrown talent, community-driven organizations, and emerging Baltimore artists.

Baltimore by Baltimore Festival series is made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Baltimore Office of Promotion and Arts, Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, and Visit Baltimore, and our generous sponsors:

Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore
