Sunset Jams: 2023 Recap

You asked, and we listened! Sunset Jams was born out of the idea that Friday nights spent in a waterfront park can be even better with live music from an interesting local band, a refreshing drink in hand, and enriching activities for the little ones.

Last Fall, Sunset Jams featured nine bands each Friday night at dusk. It’s a laid-back gathering, an end-of-the-week treat in Rash Field Park under the BGE Pavilion. From the incredible poetry and smooth instrumentation of Cheyanne Zadia’s original dreamy-jazz-soul to Abbye Dana’s spot-on Fleetwood Mac, and for a twist- the energetic tap-dancing Bluegrass of Brad Kollodner and South Baltimore’s very own rockin’ Roses N Rust, there is music everyone can get down to.

For the romantics, there is nothing like people watching from a bench in a lush park, on the water, after dark. The sparkly lights, dancing, and range of action at Sunset Jams wooed us all.
