46th Annual Summer Solstice Gala
Celebrate the Maryland Science Center’s mission at the 46th annual Solstice fundraiser gala!
Each year, on the Saturday closest to the Summer Solstice, friends of the Science Center gather to recognize the important work that takes place each and every day at the Science Center and out in the community across the entire State of Maryland.
Funds raised by Solstice supports free admission for all Maryland school children and their teachers who visit as part of a field trip during the upcoming school year. Solstice also funds our outreach programs—Traveling Science Program, Ready Set Go Science, and Family Science and Family Engineering Nights.

Discover something new as our staff welcomes you with exciting, hands-on science demonstrations.
Dance the night away to a live music performed by The Adrian Duke Project in the lobby and Rob Macy spinning records on the rooftop patio.
Mingle and explore in our three levels of interactive exhibits.
Enjoy multiple open-bars featuring our signature cocktail, as well as delicious bites from a variety of food stations.
