Rash Field Park redevelopment moves ahead with $18M second phase

The next phase in the redevelopment of one of Baltimore’s most prominent waterfront parks is ready to break ground after getting an influx of government funds.

The second phase of improvements to Rash Field Park has received $14 million from the state of Maryland, according to a release from the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, the nonprofit leading the development. That money, combined with $4 million from the City of Baltimore, means the project on the south side of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor will break ground this fall.
