Watch Now: Two New Documentaries about the Harbor
2023 has been a big year for the waterfront in so many ways- and we are thrilled to share two new documentaries that feature Baltimore’s harbor and the work to keep it clean!
In anticipation of our Harbor Splash announcement, we premiered a short overview of the Healthy Harbor Initiative and its work over the past decade in cleaning up the harbor and making it swimmable and fishable. This documentary also features the test swim undertaken in advance of next year’s public swim! Watch the whole thing here:
And everyone’s favorite hero of the harbor also got his own documentary this year, thanks to film company Rivers Are Life. The documentary explores the journey of Mr. Trash Wheel from idea to local icon as well as other major changemakers in the Baltimore environmental scene. Watch the whole thing here:
