Baltimore by Baltimore in Photos: June 2024

We kicked off our third year of BxB on June 1st with “In the House”, produced by Maya Gilmore & Charm TV, celebrating 40 years of House music here in Baltimore.

A full day of intoxicating beats and Baltimore club favorites, and a marketplace full of local vendors and delicious food, brought crowds out to the Inner Harbor Amphitheater for the first BxB of the season!

On stage, performers included youth performances such as Fatal Attraction Step Squad, fixtures of the Baltimore House scene like DJ Pope and DJ Oji, and internationally known hometown heroes Ultranate and Timothy Fletcher. Energy was kept high by Larry “Whaddup Caudle", the event’s emcee and former Baltimore by Baltimore producer for June 2023.

Visitors strolled the promenade to check out all the vendors set up as part of the festival marketplace, including a special Baker Row section featuring artists from the Baker Artist Portfolios. There was plenty of delicious food to choose from thanks to the food trucks and crabs available, and Bar Movement and Vegan Juiceology kept everyone’s thirst quenched!

The energy was infectious! With hula hoops, electric slides, familiar hits, and new mixes, there was a reason to be up on your feet or watching the stage the entire day. Whether visitors came for their favorite musical act or wandered through from the O’s game and decided to stay, a great time was had by visitors of all ages.

Meanwhile in Harbor East….

Just a short walk away in Harbor East, the 11th annual FashionEASTa runway show was a huge success! Members of the Waterfront Partnership team joined other festival-goers in making the trip over to catch models showing off looks from local retailers.

Thanks for coming out to dance the day away with us! We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the 2024 season. We’ll be back at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater on Saturday, July 6th for the next Baltimore by Baltimore- and until then, see you around on the waterfront!
