How Harbor Point is becoming urban eco-oasis in Baltimore

Did you know that Harbor Point has 9.5 acres of green space to enjoy?

With a water-side park, spacious plaza, and exciting upcoming development, Harbor Point is well on its way to becoming an urban eco-oasis, giving visitors and residents a chance to enjoy nature in the middle of the city.
Check out some of our favorite ways right now to get outside in Harbor Point- and get excited for the future of this waterfront neighborhood!

Harbor Point Central Plaza is an ideal spot for outdoor events

Situated at the top of Point St, Central Plaza is a great way to get outside in the middle of the busy city. Grab a coffee from nearby Ceremony Coffee Roasters and lounge in the grass, or grab a friend to toss around a disc or ball!
Central Plaza is also a perfect outdoor event space. The space has been host to fun, family-friendly events like last year’s Harbor Point Ice Festival and Waterfront Wellness classes.
Stay tuned for more events coming up at the plaza this year!

Wills Park is a hidden gem with perfect waterfront views

This park is a true hidden gem right off the promenade in Harbor Point. In addition to multi-level green space, you can enjoy stunning views of the harbor and iconic Domino Sugar sign. It’s a great place to bring your dog or just hang out and relax while taking in the view.
Wills Park was a fan-favorite in last year’s Waterfront Wellness series- be sure to check out the free fitness events happening there this year!

There’s more to come

Harbor Point is currently in Phase III of development, and there are exciting things to come- including an additional 4.5 acres of open park space.

Visit the Harbor Point website to learn more about this project!

The promenade is a great path to walk or run next to the harbor- and travel to Harbor Point’s neighboring waterfront communities

The promenade in Harbor Point is an ideal place to enjoy the waterfront!
Runners, dog walkers, and pedestrians love utilizing this stretch of the promenade along Wills St. While you recreate, take in views of the iconic Domino Sugar sign and watch the water taxis make their way across the harbor.
It’s also a beautiful and easy way to travel on foot between waterfront neighborhoods- you can continue through Harbor East and the Inner Harbor or Fells Point to Canton.
Check out the promenade on Google Maps and plan out your next walk!
