Here are 5 of the best date spots in Baltimore, each showcasing something different that the waterfront has to offer.

Sparkling water views, historic charm, warm string lights, and creative touches- Baltimore’s waterfront is ripe with opportunities for romance. There are so many options to choose from that sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to decide! That’s why we’ve put together a list, just in time for Valentine’s Day, with the best spots for the kind of date you want.

Would you consider yourself a locavore? Located right along the waterfront, Ampersea pairs stunning harbor views with locally sourced ingredients. While their seafood dishes are the highlight of this menu, they also showcase other Maryland dishes and offer vegan and vegetarian options as well; plus a list of craft cocktails to pair perfectly with your meal. If it’s too cold to sit outside, don’t worry- cute, modern decor makes for a picture perfect moment inside as well. And after dinner, you can walk over to look at Living Classrooms, one of Ampersea’s non-profit partners.

Their dine-in menu includes white, red, rose, and bubbly options for wine connoisseurs and newcomers alike. They also offer small plates and pizza to pair alongside your drinks.  After dinner, you’re in the perfect spot to take a stroll along the promenade or go out and explore more of the Fells Point downtown area.
