Community Concert Series: John Lamkin Favorites Jazz Quintet
Join the John Lamkin Favorites Jazz Quintet for free, outdoor jazz performances in the BMI’s covered pavilion this summer! Some seating will be available but visitors are welcome to bring their own chairs/blankets and refreshments. Restrooms are available inside the museum. Birthday by Baltimore
Join us in celebrating Live Baltimore's Birthday Bash with an unforgettable Birthday by Baltimore performance! Three of our talented BxB Festival alumni: Big Fred, Yesenia Mejia Herrera, and Keith Colston, will light up the stage at Harborplace with a free performance from 6-8 PM during the ticketed Birthday Bash event. This is the perfect way to honor our city’s birthday, showcasing some of Baltimore’s most exciting diverse and local talent. Next Friday, come out for a fun, live show you won't want to miss!
Rhythm Liberation Fest: Juneteenth Celebration
A celebration of Baltimore’s music scene and the Juneteenth holiday featuring a pop-up marketplace of creative entrepreneurs, curated by BLK ASS FLEA MKT in partnership with Love Groove Entertainment, taking place both inside the museum and along the waterfront campus.

The runway returns to Aliceanna Street for the annual Harbor East fashion show! Join us in Baltimore’s chicest neighborhood for a runway show unlike any other – featuring all the new trends your closet is craving, straight from the district’s most coveted brands and boutiques. 2024 IMET Open House
The Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) opens its doors for a free Open House on Saturday, May 4, 1-4 p.m. Enjoy hands-on science activities for kids of all ages, meet our scientists, and discover important marine research happening throughout the harbor and the Chesapeake Bay!
Asia in a Bite Food Festival
Happening every last Saturday from April to September, Asia in a Bite Food Fest is excited to bring the most authentic Asian cuisine to the community of Baltimore!
African American Children's Book Festival
Join the Reginald F. Lewis Museum for the return of our family friendly African American Children’s Book Fair Festival Presented by BGE, An Exelon Company. Children and families can enjoy a fun-filled day exploring kids’ literature about African Americans while meeting some of your favorite children’s authors and illustrators in our Book Village. Enjoy author readings, illustration workshops, craft activities, an Urban Beekeeping Workshop with John Newman Honeybee Company and dance performances with TikTok dancers, @ayo_shag Shag and @tsu_flash Flash. Museum visitors can receive a free book with a book purchase in the Book Village. Free books are on a limited supply basis.
Bmore Flea Night Market
Back by popular demand, don’t miss the Spring Night Market from Bmore Flea! Head to the Central Plaza on April 11 for a one-of-a-kind showcase of Baltimore’s most talented craft makers and vintage dealers. Scour the racks for unique pieces, get some face time with the makers, and enjoy tasty drinks and great music all evening long.
ARC GLORIA at the Inner Harbor
ARC GLORIA, a three-masted bark & official flagship of the Colombian Navy, is visiting the Inner Harbor from Cartagena!

The Black Genius Art Show- A Bird's Eye View
The tallest building in Maryland, known today as 100 Light Street, is turning 50 years old and celebrating with a series of FREE events at the iconic building’s prime location in downtown Baltimore.
Join us on Lumen Plaza—100 Light Street's public green space—to experience "A Bird's Eye View" for a unique, live and interactive art/fashion event curated by The Black Genius Art Show and Phamily. Hosted by Black Root with an array of visual and performing artists.
