5 Ways to Enjoy August’s Baltimore by Baltimore

Baltimore by Baltimore returns this Saturday, August 10th with Groove in the City! Produced by artist, producer, and multi-instrumental musician John Tyler, this show will feature a fresh lineup of Baltimore talent and a through-line of art the entire day!

#1: Take a ride on the historic Sigsbee Sailboat

Set sail aboard a famous historic ship

Living Classroom’s historic skipjack, Sigsbee, will be at BxB for a total of 3 rides from 2-6pm.
If you’ve never set sail on the harbor before, this is your chance to experience it! Riders can expect fun activities on board as well. Note- we are limited to 30 passengers per ride. To secure your spot, reserve in advance here.

 

#2: Explore Baltimore art beyond the stage

Art of all kinds will be taking over the amphitheater

August’s show producer, John Tyler, is the creator of Love Groove Festival, an arts and music festival that celebrates young Baltimore artists. On Saturday you can explore the Love Groove Outdoor Gallery featuring local Baltimore visual artists; plus, walk through Baker row to discover visual artists from the Baker Artists Portfolios.

 

#3: Get an autograph from Orioles Hall of Famer Tippy Martinez

Baseball fans, listen up:

Tippy Martinez, former Os Pitcher and Hall of Famer, will be at Baltimore by Baltimore to sign autographs from 12-2pm. Plus, you’ll have a chance all day to enter a raffle for fun, summery Os merch!

 
 

#4: Joyride on the Dragon Paddle Boats

Where better to watch the show from than the water?

Living Classrooms is extending their paddle boat range all the way to the amphitheater just for Saturday’s show! Take a joy ride on the Chessie Dragon Paddle Boats and catch the show from the water! Rides are $25 for 30 minutes and each boat can fit up to 4 people.

 

#5: Get Your Groove on to Local Bands, DJs, and Rappers

Saturday’s lineup will have you up and grooving all day long

From 12-8pm, the stage will be lit up with music from a range of incredibly talented local performers. Both emerging artists and Baltimore legends are taking the stage to make this weekend’s show unforgettable.
