Dig into a gardening adventure! Journey into the garden to explore plant anatomy, adaptations, and chemical reactions in this 3-hour workshop designed for ages 7-10. Create your own mini-garden from up-cycled materials, investigate the form and function of plants through an instructor-led plant dissection, and experiment with chromatography to reveal the colorful pigments that leaves have hidden inside. This workshop is led by instructors from Seedling— a non-profit working to improve health outcomes in Baltimore youth through food equity education.
