In Celebration of Juneteenth
How much do you know about Juneteenth? What are the origins of this holiday celebration day in the United States, and why does it resonate with us? Discover the story of Juneteenth during a talk by Mr. Bradley Alston, Baltimore’s Black History maven. The presentation will focus on the advent of the Juneteenth Holiday. There will be questions and answers at the end of the talk.
Juneteenth at Sandlot
Join us Monday, June 19 from 5-9pm for a night of food and culture to celebrate Juneteenth!
Shop local black-owned businesses featuring everything from jewelry to leather bags to clothing and more while @djflavashow plays all night long! We’ll be firing up the grill too, with plenty of short rib sliders, BBQ chicken, wings and sides.
